Throughout my career, one defining theme has emerged: community.
Whether it has been building more robust community engagement programs for nonprofits, coaching individuals to make healthy lifestyle changes, copywriting for a product that builds a following and compels followers to action, or creating an exceptional employee experience for globally distributed remote teams -- building, developing, and maintaining a strong, empowered community has been central to my professional journey.
By using a person-centered, empathetic approach—punctuated with a lot of fun—my focus is equity, diversity, and empowerment while spurring staff and clients to action through education, effective relationship-building, and always, encouraging curiosity. Whether that client be an employee, community member, or a potential consumer, community is central to inspiring others to act, and I am passionate about creating just that— both inside and outside, of the workplace. I don't believe in the right culture fit. I believe that the right culture finds a way to fit everyone.
I encourage you to browse this website, dig a little deeper into my story, and see for yourself that I have what you, and your organization, need.
I want to impact the world positively. Whether by creating community within your workplace or helping individuals recognize their own greatness, I aspire to empower others to action and success by building strong, foundational relationships built on trust by using person-centered strategies to success.
My goal is to inspire and motivate the people around me to grow. My goal is to be your solution for a more compassionate, caring, and equitable workplace and community. My goal is to create spaces of joy for all and to make workplaces safe and supportive communities, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
If your core mission does not go deeper than profit, I am probably not the right fit. I believe wholeheartedly in people over profit, and building workplaces and spaces that give all an opportunity to thrive and achieve success- regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, or sex, age, socioeconomic barriers, or if someone lives with a disability.
DEIB initiatives are not just a good business strategy- they are a human strategy.
My work is intentional and rooted in these core values. I believe in empowering others through advocacy and curiosity. I believe people's stories are their super power. I consider myself a fierce ally for our most vulnerable communities and I firmly believe in speaking up when there are disparities showing. If you feel that these values do not align with your hiring, compensation, and general business decisions, I wish you the best of luck in your search for someone who is a better fit.
This podcast originated as an initiative with one of my teams as a way to connect with one another more deeply. A resume never tells the whole story. People are far more complex and nuanced than their education and experience can show. Dive a little deeper into me.
